Nickel wire is a wire made of nearly 100% nickel metal, its general properties and ability to be used in multiple applications make it very popular. 1. Corrosion Resistance

STEP1 :Raw Material Sourcing

STEP2: Melting:

Nickel is liquefied at a high temperature in a furnace for the purposes of further processing.

STEP3: Casting

Nickel melts are cast as nickel ingots, amorphous blocks which can be recycled in numerous ways. After cooling the ingots, it is hardening for use.

STEP4: Wire Drawing

The nickel ingots are melted, heated and drawn through a series of mixing holes (cast). This method pulls the nickel into thinning strings containing gradual diminishing diameter.

STEP5: Annealing

The drawn wire is then fired in a controlled environment. This action relives internal stresses and makes the wire bend much more easily.

The wire is sound tested, checked for conductivity and examined to insure that it has its per design purity. Which confirms that it conforms to industry standards. The final product is then spooled for ease of use. The spooled wire is then sold to a multitude of different industries for use in applications ranging from electronics to aerospace.
