0NP1 (N4) high purity nickel wire at 99.9% minimum Ni+Co, drawn 0.025-10 mm, with Nickel 200 (UNS N02200) also available. ISO 9001 and SGS certified, EN 10204 3.1 certificates, 7-15 day delivery.
NP1 (N4) high purity nickel wire carries a minimum of 99.9% Ni+Co, with the impurity budget fixed by grade, and is drawn from 0.025 mm to 10 mm on a nickel-focused production line. The grade suits electronics, chemical processing and aerospace work where trace elements decide how a part behaves. Nickel 200 (UNS N02200) is drawn on the same line for applications that fit a lower-cost commercial-purity grade, and every batch ships with traceable test records and EN 10204 3.1 mill certificates on export orders.

Two naming systems appear in wire specifications, and the difference matters at order time. NP1 is the Chinese GB designation for N4, with a minimum of 99.9% Ni+Co, the top of the commercial-purity range. Nickel 200 (UNS N02200) is the ASTM designation for a grade with a 99.2% minimum and up to 0.15% carbon. Both are commercial-purity nickel. NP1/N4 is chosen where maximum purity decides the outcome, and Nickel 200 where cost per kg carries more weight and the carbon ceiling is acceptable. State the designation system the order uses, GB NP1/N4 or ASTM Ni200/Ni201, and the mill certificate follows it.
| Form | Size Range | Temper |
|---|---|---|
| Wire (round) | 0.025–10 mm | Soft / Hard / 1/2 Hard |
Micro wire (≤0.05 mm) is available at a 1 kg MOQ; standard wire sizes start at a 5 kg MOQ. Thickness and dimensions are produced to customer requirements; submit the drawing for confirmation.
Maximum commercial purity: NP1/N4 at ≥99.9% Ni+Co, with tight impurity limits (Cu ≤0.015%, Fe ≤0.04%) for work where trace elements carry consequences.
Conductivity: resistivity of 0.096 μΩ·m keeps resistance low and predictable in current-carrying parts.
Thermal conductivity: 70.2 W/m·K (Ni200) spreads heat evenly through a part where temperature uniformity is the requirement.
Corrosion resistance: holds against alkaline media and reducing environments, and against high-temperature oxidation and sulfidation.
Magnetic behaviour: ferromagnetic with a Curie temperature of 358°C, for electromagnetic components.
Workability: drawable, rollable and forgeable into fine diameters, flat sections and complex shapes.

Purity is an impurity budget: at ≥99.9% Ni+Co, NP1 leaves 0.1% for all other elements combined, with carbon capped at 0.01%. Where trace elements migrate, oxidize or outgas, in fine electronics, sealed assemblies and precision instruments, that budget translates into more predictable electrical, magnetic and corrosion behaviour. The same line also draws Nickel 200 at ≥99.2%, which makes the grade decision an economic one.
Wire is produced in seven controlled stages: high-purity nickel raw material preparation; smelting and casting into billets; hot or cold rolling for deformation and strength; annealing to relieve stress and refine grain structure; multi-stage drawing to the required diameter; cleaning and testing of size, chemistry and physical properties; and packaging for shipment. Process parameters such as heating temperature, cooling speed and rolling intensity are controlled throughout to hold uniformity across the batch.
Quality starts at raw material selection and continues through process control, dust-controlled handling, annealing parameters, and packaging and storage that prevent oxidation and contamination. Every batch passes chemical composition analysis, dimensional measurement, mechanical property testing and surface inspection before release, and test records accompany the shipment.
The factory operates ISO 9001 & SGS certified quality systems, founded in 2002 with 20+ years on a nickel-focused line. Export orders ship with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates covering chemical composition, dimensions and mechanical properties, with batch records retained for traceability. Wire is supplied to ASTM B164 for Ni200/Ni201 and GB/T 21653 for N4/N6.

NP1 (N4) is the GB designation for ≥99.9% Ni+Co; Nickel 200 (UNS N02200) is the ASTM designation for ≥99.2% Ni. State the designation system the order uses, and the mill certificate follows it. NP1 is specified where maximum purity is required, Nickel 200 where cost per kg carries more weight.
The top of the commercial-purity range is NP1/N4 at ≥99.9% Ni+Co. A requirement above 99.9% is handled as a custom specification: state the target limits, and the engineering team confirms what the line can achieve before the order is placed.
Round wire from 0.025 mm to 10 mm, in soft, hard or 1/2 hard temper. Dimensional tolerances are locked per drawing at order confirmation; micro sizes (≤0.05 mm) are drawn to the tight end of the range.
Each shipment includes batch test records covering chemical composition, dimensions and mechanical properties, and export orders ship with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates.
Micro wire (≤0.05 mm) starts at 1 kg; standard wire at 5 kg. Samples are free for N6/Ni200 (0.5 kg); N4/NP1 and Ni201 samples are charged and refunded on a first order of 50 kg or more.
Standard production ships in 7–15 days; small in-stock quantities in 3–7 days; complex custom requirements in 15–30 days after drawing confirmation.
