Description

Copper nickel thermocouple (T-type thermocouple), also known as copper constantan thermocouple, is a low-cost metal thermocouple designed specifically for measuring low temperatures. The positive electrode (TP) is made of pure copper, while the negative electrode (TN) is made of copper nickel alloy, commonly known as constantan. Unlike the common negative electrode EN in nickel chromium constantan, the negative electrode TN in copper nickel thermocouples cannot be common with the negative electrode JN in iron constantan thermocouples, although they are both referred to as constantan.

The measurement temperature range suitable for copper nickel thermocouples is -200 ° C to 350 ° C. Due to its excellent low-temperature performance, it is widely used in temperature measurement and control fields in low-temperature environments, such as frozen food processing, refrigeration condition monitoring in the pharmaceutical industry, and so on.
