Incoloy 825 tubing (UNS N08825) is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with molybdenum and copper additions, specifically engineered for superior corrosion resistance. The alloy's composition includes:
Nickel (38-46%) for general corrosion resistance
Chromium (19.5-23.5%) for oxidation resistance
Molybdenum (2.5-3.5%) for pitting/crevice corrosion resistance
Copper (1.5-3.0%) for sulfuric acid resistance
